2016年京都大学大学院工学研究科機械理工学専攻博士後期課程修了。博士（工学）。2016年より大阪大学大学院工学研究科機械工学専攻助教。2021年にテキサス大学オースティン校Oden Instituteにて客員研究員。流体関連分野を中心とするトポロジー最適化の研究者。2020年頃からマルチフィデリティ設計や深層学習を活用したデータ駆動型最適設計の方法論を提唱。Nature Architectsの目指す「設計空間の拡張」を共に極めるべく、2023年よりアドバイザーを務める。特技はボートを漕ぐこと(U19/23世界選手権元日本代表)。

Completed the doctoral program in Mechanical Engineering at the Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University in 2016. Received a PhD in Engineering. Since 2016, served as an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering at Osaka University. In 2021, became a visiting scholar at the Oden Institute, University of Texas at Austin. An active researcher in the field of topology optimization, mainly focusing on fluid-related areas. Around 2020, proposed methodologies for data-driven optimal design utilizing multifidelity design and deep learning. Since 2023, serving as an advisor to expand the "design space" aimed by Nature Architects. Special skill is rowing (former Japan representative at the U19/23 World Championships).
