Graduated in Political Sciences at the State University of Milan, he worked for 14 years as Sales Director at Fiat Carrelli Elevatori and as GM of their German and British subsidiaries. In 1992 he entered Fontana Group, the major world player in fasteners production, as responsible for the UK and French branch offices. The extensive experience achieved with major worldwide OEMs and TIERs, and the ability to develop strategic and operational plans in the industrial field, with particular focus on commercial organization, new markets and products contributed to his appointment as Fontana's Global CCO. Since 2007 he has been representing EIFI, the European Industrial Fasteners Institute, at the European Commission, for Unfair Trading Practices from third Countries towards the EU. He is currently President of the Italian Fasteners Association, UPIVEB, and EIFI Board Member.
