Nature Architectsではメタマテリアルやコンプライアントメカニズムを用いて様々な製品のコアとなる機能を設計し様々な領域のクライアント企業と製品開発を行っています。
Nature Architectsが開発する設計アルゴリズム「DFM（Direct Functional Modeling）」を活用することで、従来のものづくりとは根本的に異なる製品設計を可能にします。
ボルトやフレームヒンジなどの「固い」部品を組み立てることで製品設計をしていた従来のものづくりに対して、DFMを活用すると、各パーツのあるべき物理特性を計算しそれを実現するメタマテリアルを生成・割当て可能にすることができます。
その結果、硬い部材に振動吸収機能を付与するなどの、今までは実現できなかった新しい機能をパーツに付加したり、フレームや稼働部など部位ごとに必要な様々な機能を部品に分けることなく一体で設計・製造することが可能になります。
Nature Architectsでは、一般的なCAD, CAEツールを用いた設計に加え、自社設計ツールDFMを用いた最先端の設計を行い企業と製品開発を行う人材や、設計ツールDFM自身の開発に興味のある人材を求めています。

The design algorithm "DFM (Direct Functional Modeling)" developed by Nature Architects makes it possible to design products that are fundamentally different from conventional manufacturing.
In contrast to conventional manufacturing, where product design is based on assembling "hard" parts such as bolts and frame hinges, DFM allows us to calculate the physical properties of each part and generate and assign metamaterials to realize them.
As a result, it is possible to add new functions to parts that could not be achieved before, such as adding vibration absorbing functions to hard materials, and to design and manufacture various functions required for each part, such as frames and operating parts, as a single unit without dividing them into parts.
In addition to designing using general CAD and CAE tools, Nature Architects is looking for people who can design cutting-edge products using our design tool DFM and work with companies on product development, as well as people who are interested in developing the design tool DFM itself.
